The AtriumThe Atrium is the place to relax on the bright patio furniture, amid large, lush tropical plants in all four seasons. Bed & Breakfast guests will be served in the atrium each morning.
Guests are welcome to use the well-equipped kitchenette any time during their stay, whether just to make a coffee or tea, or prepare a meal for themselves. |

Common AreasInside the main house, guests are welcome to sit and visit, read, or watch TV in the living room.
Downstairs, there is a large, comfortable leisure area sporting an 85” TV with surround sound for watching a special game or a favourite movie on one of our available streaming options. For those with mobility issues, there is a chair lift from the Atrium to the deck off the kitchen, plus an elevator to take you to the downstairs, so every guest can join their friends and family in every area. |
Guest Rooms
The Hummingbird Room 1In the main house, the Hummingbird Room has a king-size bed and corner windows that face west and north. This room and the Bluebird Room share a bathroom with a shower and Jacuzzi tub, making them a good choice for families. This room also has a personal safe in the closet.

The Bluebird Room 2The Bluebird Room has twin beds. Next door to, and sharing a bathroom with the Hummingbird Room, these two make a great family setting.

The Cardinal Room 4Downstairs in the main house, the Cardinal Room has a queen-size bed and is a quiet space. Though it isn’t an ensuite, there is a bathroom (shower) a few steps down the hall.

The Mallard Room 5On the ground floor in the new addition, the Mallard Room has an ensuite bathroom (shower only). The bed is an adjustable “split-king” with individual controls. With advance notice, the beds can be separated into twins. There is a private patio which faces north toward the Shetland Conservation Area.

The Oriole Room 6On the ground floor in the new addition, the Oriole Room has an ensuite bathroom (shower only). The bed is an adjustable “split-king” with individual controls. With advance notice, the beds can be separated into twins. There a private, east facing patio.

The Kingfisher Room 7Upstairs in the new addition, the large Kingfisher Room has a king-size bed with plenty of room to add a roll-away (or two), if needed. The bathroom has a double sink vanity, a shower and a large soaking tub for ultimate relaxation.

ExteriorAs much care was put into the new gardens and patio areas, as was put into the inside of Bentpath Getaway. The new gardens include an abundance of native flowers and shrubs to create a thriving ecosystem. From the atrium or from the patios you can watch butterflies, dragonflies, hummingbirds, orioles, grosbeaks, woodpeckers, and various other wildlife enjoying the gardens.
